We're a family run drain company based in Congleton, Cheshire. Dan & Tracy started in the drainage industry since 2019 undertaking drain unblocking job with one van. Since then several more drain vans have been added and the areas we cover have expanded to cover all Cheshire, Staffordshire, Warrington, Manchester and Liverpool.
Beyond the vans, we now have a complete admin team who make sure every call is answered quickly and prioritised so the most urgent job is dealt with first. After serving in the British Army for 13 years, I decided it was time for a new challenge and took a leap of faith into a completely different career.
Following a short break after leaving the army, I started with Clear Drainage Solutions, where I quickly felt part of a team.
Starting as General Manager, I embraced the opportunity to grow with the company, eventually taking on the role of Operations Manager before becoming Director.
Today, I oversee all aspects of our operations, from preparing accurate and competitive quotations for remedial works following unblock visits to managing large-scale excavation projects.
Mollie Doyle
After working in the healthcare sector for five years, I joined Clear Drainage Solutions.
I started out scheduling jobs, answering calls, and handling day-to-day administrative tasks and responsibilities.
My work journey took an unexpected turn when I became pregnant. Throughout this time, the company was incredibly supportive, and after maternity leave, I returned in an elevated role as General Manager.
I also combined my interest in technology to lead our social media and marketing efforts, creating engaging online content and strengthening our digital presence.
Lian Revington Dean
I’m originally from North Wales but have lived in Cheshire for over 20 years, which I now consider my true home.
I’m a proud mum to my daughter Scarlett, who is 23, and she continues to inspire me every day.
I joined Clear Drainage Solutions in November 2024 and am the first point of contact for our customers. I love being able to make sure everyone receives a warm and professional welcome.
Outside of work, I have a passion for travel and always have my next adventure planned. I love exploring new places and experiencing different cultures.
Tracy Louise Cartledge
I started working with Dan a year after he got his first van. Initially I was answering calls, arranging drain unblocks and invoicing completed projects.
As we began to get busier my role, I became a Director of the business with responsibility for HR and the accounting.
Our team at Clear Drainage Solutions are more family than colleagues, we all get on inside and outside work.
Outside of work, I'm a Mum to my amazing son and two lovely dogs. We spend all our spare time together exploring the outside and going on big family adventures.
Daniel Hibberts
With 15 years of hands-on experience in the drain industry, there isn't much I haven't seen, smelt or unblocked. I started with a van and a second hand jetter, with Tracy we've grown our business into multiple vans, an admin team and one big family.
I'm an easy-going person who believes in being honest, straightforward and treating others with the same respect I'd like to receive back. I've tried my hardest to make this the foundation at Clear Drainage Solutions.
Outside of work I love exploring caves. I've never found anything quite like the adventure and challenge it brings. But when I'm not at work or underground, I'll be at home with Tracy, Hugo and the dogs enjoying time together.
